Use these car cleaning tips to extend the life of your car

In the world of automobiles, there are a lot of misconceptions about what it takes to keep your car running smoothly. In fact, one of these myths is that you have to clean your car every week in order for it to run better.

However, this could not be further from the truth. In reality, cleaning your vehicle too often can actually do more harm than good and could potentially lead to engine failure or other expensive complications.

With an average cost per gallon at two to three Euros for gas additives and cleaners alone, you will save yourself a lot of money by not going overboard with washing your car as frequently as some people believe you should.

Instead of spending hours on end scrubbing dirt off the exterior surface every week, take a more practical approach.

Washing the car once every two weeks is more than enough to keep it looking shiny and new. Use warm water and a mild soap or car wash solution to avoid damaging the paint job and never use car wax on a car that has been recently washed and dried. This will create streaks on the car's surface.

Do not use glass cleaners more than twice a month since this can reduce window visibility and cause streaking. A microfiber cloth with just water is all you need to get rid of fingerprints, smudges, and smears on car glass.

You should never use paper towels to dry your car since they can scratch the surface of the car. Instead, you should use a soft microfiber cloth so as not to cause any damage to the car's paint job.

Use car wax every three months or so to protect the car's paint job, but never car wax your car while it is wet.

Use car air fresheners sparingly since this only masks the musty smells and can attract bugs. Instead, leave the car doors open to allow fresh air in after washing or during regular use of the car to get rid of any odor that may be lingering.

Look for car care coupons or car detailing deals, especially during the summer season. Many car washes have special offers on their websites and in local flyers to encourage car owners to keep up with car maintenance.

Use car wax only on the car's surface - do not apply it to car tires or metal parts. This can actually damage these surfaces over time.

Invest in a car vacuum cleaner that can be used to remove dirt, crumbs, hair, debris, and carpet hair from car seats, car floors, car mats, car storage compartments, etc.

If you are looking for a way to get your car mats looking new, buy car mat deodorizers that use microencapsulation technology to keep car mats smelling fresh.

Clean car mats with baking soda to remove odors and then vacuum the car mats after thirty minutes to get rid of any leftover residue.

These are some helpful tips to clean your car; however, if you do not have time to clean your car, you should simply visit a car wash. A good car wash in your area can tend to all your bil rengøring needs and give you’re a clean and shiny car.

You can also get your car waxed and get detailing done on the interiors. The price you pay at a car wash will depend on the services you want.
